StormFast offers a wide range of Kevels for any deck application. Sizes range from 12” long weighing 8lbs to 60” long weighing just under 400lbs. Our Kevels are made from ASTM A27 cast steel and are built to withstand the toughest conditions.
Feature Description
StormFast’s Kevels are sold as-cast with no surface paint or finish to maintain quick, easy and safe weld-ability to the deck of any barge or workboat.
Application
Large Kevels like the StormFast-48A, 36A and 159A are designed primarily to be used with line or wire for barge coupling, checking, or mooring. They are typically placed along the gunnels of a barge or work-boat.
